The feeder is pretty but the shiny glass tile scares the birds away. I have another feeder that they flock to, this one they stay away from.

API 645 Bird Bath Bowl with Tilt-to-Clean Deck Rail Mounting Bracket Review

API 645 Bird Bath Bowl with Tilt-to-Clean Deck Rail Mounting Bracket
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this birdbath after having trouble finding a free-standing one that had a large enough capacity to not quickly evaporate dry in the Mid-Atlantic coast's summer while being tall enough to be seen from our back windows. This seemed to fit the bill with its deep bowl and was very easy to install (screwdriver required, no other tools). It's just as easy to empty as advertised, also.
On the negative side, since it mounts on a deck railing, it might be higher than your local birds are used to looking for water. It took several weeks for our birds to discover and start using it.
Highly recommended if you don't have a convenient spot to put a typical pedestal-mounted birdbath or need the convenience of being able to easily dump out a birdbath.

Un-heated Bird Bath with Tilt-to-Clean Deck Mount. The bowl is 20" x 2" deep. The shape of the rim is designed to be easily grasped by a bird's talons making it a natural perch and, as a result, encourages landings. Includes a mounting bracket that firmly attaches to deck rails. The bath can be tilted for cleaning without removing it from the rail.

Bird Quest SBF3C 17" Spiral Seed Bird Feeder - Copper Review

Bird Quest SBF3C 17 Spiral Seed Bird Feeder - Copper
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I really love the design of this bird feeder as far as aesthetics go. We also specifically bought this feeder because it keeps birds from pooping on the seed, thus potentially spreading disease to other birds (this is an issue with tray feeders). Unfortunately the huge design flaw of this bird feeders is the feeding holes. Each time a bird grabs some seed, about a tablespoon of seed comes spilling out of the hole. It's a huge waste of seed and leaves a mess under your feeder (that if un-cleaned then causes the same poop-seed mix issues as a tray feeder). If this feeder came with holes that had a better device for keeping extra seed in the tube, it would be a five star product.

Birdscapes 737 Garden Sip & Seed Feeder Review

Birdscapes 737 Garden Sip and Seed Feeder
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Cardinals, woodpeckers, mocking birds, wrens, finches, sparrows, and squirrels all love this feeder system. Squirrels might chew on the "saucers" -- they have chewed on mine, but the unit still functions well. I think there's a metal-capped version which might be less likely to show damage from chewing.
The seed feeder is easy to fill with a funnel-type reversible scoop and the water container is easy to fill with a water hose. However, you have to turn the containers upside down to refill because the clear chambers have only one open end. If the seed container isn't empty, you might want to pour the remaining seeds into something before turning it over and refilling. I do wish the seed chamber especially was accessible from both sides for this reason.
I haven't had any significant problems with the seed getting damp, maybe because the birds empty it so fast! I am surprised how many birds actually use the water container. They actually do drink from it, however it does need to be cleaned with a bottle brush periodically.
This feeder looks very pretty in my yard and is worth the price.

Birds need not only seeds, but also water, and you can make your yard more attractive to birds by providing both with the Birdscapes Garden Sip & Seed Feeder. The design includes two plastic silos with interchangeable caps and bases that allow you to fill each with either seeds or water. Each silo features an antique style, copper, two-tone finish cap and base. A decorative freeform hanger allows you to hang the silos in a variety of ways.
Two-Silo System Provides Both Seed and WaterBirds need water as much as they need food, and by providing both, your yard becomes a more welcoming place for birds. Some birds, like warblers and swallows, will only come if water is available. The Birdscapes Garden Sip & Seed Feeder comes with two complete silos, each of which can hold either seed or water.
Each silo features a matching interchangeable cap and base that lets you choose whether it will hold water or seed, allowing you to fill one with seed and the other with water. Or, fill both with water. During winter's freezing temperatures, you can fill both with seed. Each silo can hold up to 1.5 pounds of seed or 27 ounces of water.
Adaptable Design with Decorative HangerThe two plastic silos are perfect for use throughout the entire year, even in the toughest conditions. Each silo features an antique style, copper two-tone finish cap and base, which serve to protect the feeder from above while providing a perching spot for birds below.
A freeform copper scroll hanger provides flexibility in choosing how to arrange the silos. You can hang both on either end of the hanger, or hang a single silo from the middle. The entire feeder measures 7 by 17 by 22 inches.

Perky-Pet 7103-2 Copper Triple Tube Bird Feeder Review

Perky-Pet 7103-2 Copper Triple Tube Bird Feeder

I bought this particular Opus feeder on Amazon, Seven Years ago. It is amazing that the feeder not only looks great but also still is operating like new. Opus Company is the most cooperative manufacturer and they stand behind all their products.
I called them when an aggressive squirrel ate through the squirrel guard in about six months, only because I had it put it up with too large of rope. Though it was my fault, they replaced the top and sent it out to my house immediately 100% free!
Over the years, I have had questions about birds and feeders and they are quick to answer them. They know the animals that eat out of their products! Opus makes more than Bird Feeders, they make many different garden products and Amazon is their top seller of those goods. That is who they always suggest you shop through Amazon because as they will tell you "Amazon.com has the absolute lowest price on all" these quality products.
I now own seven Opus Feeder and other Opus Garden Products; all are in new shape with heavy use in the adverse weather of Kansas! Yes Dorothy Kansas!
Let us not forget to shop for these at Amazon.com, but go to http://www.opususa.com and look over the entire line of their products and get the best advice on outside birding and other great information.

Heritage Farms Absolute II Squirrel Proof Bird Feeder Review

Heritage Farms Absolute II Squirrel Proof Bird Feeder
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We are looking for another feeder, so when I got to this page I thought I would tell you why this is the one we're going to purchase.
We got our first `7536' feeder over 10 years and we still like it. For one thing it holds an entire grocery store size bag of sunflower seeds and for another the birds love it. Frequently both sides are filled with our feathered friends while there are others waiting in the tree for their turn. [Thus our interest in another feeder.]
Presently we have Chickadees, Nuthatches, Cardinals, House sparrows, Wrens, Gold finches, the occasional flicker and small woodpecker visiting. When we lived it Texas it was convenient to exclude those pesky, though attractive, jays.
Initially I think (okay--my memories a little faded after a decade!) it did keep the squirrels at bay, but that hasn't been the case for many years. In fact, our local `free-range' squirrel has the glossiest coat you can imagine. But we don't really care as he is so jealous of the feeder that he keeps other intruders away.
The lapse in squirrel-proof-ness is probably due to years of collected grime and dust that clog the springs. That and just the passage of time.
Four Stars. Our feeder is doing just fine after 10 years. I think the other reviewer is wrong in saying that this feeder is available for less money. I think what he has seen is the one sided version of this same feeder. I say this because we have searched around a bit in order to save money.
And about the squirrels--we saw a PBS special one time that showed what a gray squirrel would actually do for lunch. They had these squirrels climbing, jumping, and riding in little wagons through a long tube to get to a bird feeder. I concluded after watching those experiments that `proofing' was a ridiculous notion. LOL.
