(More customer reviews)They love this thing. I recommend having it face a window where you can watch them play. They will usually hang upside down and twirl it around, while eating.
We already wore out our first one and decided to replace it. The first one lasted nearly a decade.
It's such a simple design, but they seem to really love it. The nails are nice and long, so it holds the corn cobs on really well.

(More customer reviews)I bought this as a gift for my grandfather who is having sqirrel trouble. I thought it would help keep the sqirrels away from his birdfeeder. Unfortunately, the sqirrels get bored with it and go back to the bird seed. They were hysterical to watch, but don 't buy this if your trying to lure sqirrels AWAY from your birdfeeder.

Bird's Choice Squirrel Arrow Feeder Review

It may be that the squirrels in Cary, NC are extra tall or that the Arrow Feeder is short (on the corn end) by about 3 inches because they don't really need to work at getting their treat.
