(More customer reviews)This is a large clear dome that does not obstruct the view of the feeder and helps keep the seed dry when it rains. Nice to be able to adjust the brass rod to adjust somewhat how high or low the feeder hangs below the dome. The squirrels have tried but. so far. haven't been able to get to the feeder as the dome turns on the rod when they stretch down from the tree branch and put their front feet on it. They can't get a grip and the shelled sunflower seed is lasting longer; now the birds get it! Because they have been so entertaining, we put up a tray feeder to treat the squirrels.
