(More customer reviews)I was excited to order this Fairy Dust Hummingbird Feeder and within minutes of opening it, so disappointed!
For starters, the product description says "4 feeding ports" when, in fact, there are only 3. I can live with that; however, the design of this product is flawed. The glass containers are very thin and fragile. The flower tops do not attach but just sit on top of the hole of the glass container and can easily fall out. This is meant to be an outside feeder yet a tiny gust of wind, or the gentle swaying of the fairy holder, can dislodge the precariously perched glass flower and send it crashing to the ground. I wouldn't be surprised if even a Hummingbird might knock the flower top off! (My feeder didn't last long enough to actually have Hummingbirds visit!)
It is impossible to put one glass container in the metal fairy-holder and let go long enough to put the other containers in their respective holders without the entire holder tilting and spilling or, worse yet, dumping the containers and breaking them. It is so poorly designed that you must have all 3 glasses filled at the same exact moment to avoid tilting. It really requires more than one person to hold it while you fill each container. Ridulous!
