(More customer reviews)I have only had this feeder for 2 weeks now but the birds have not figured out how to feed out of it. Although the squirels have. I am hoping they just need a little more time and maybe I should take down one of the feeders they are more familar with and then they would eat out of it. Although, the worms cant get out of the little cup you are supposed to put them in which is good!!!! I am going to give my birds a little more time to figure out the feeder and how to get to the food/worms in it before I call it a waste of my money. I think I am going to take down a couple of other feeders the birds are more familar with and see if they use the Jail feeder more. I will leave a message with the results.

Esschert Design Bird Nesting Pocket -Sea Grass Review

(More customer reviews)I have two of these, and one of them was indeed used a few years ago by a family of wrens. However, unless birds in your vicinity are inclined to use another birds' nest, this pocket will probably not be utilized again. It is impossible to easily remove a previous family's nest. Best sold as a decoration only, not as a functioning birding item.

Stovall Bluebird Feeder Review

(More customer reviews)Shipping was great... came pretty quick after ordering. BUT... after having it hang outside after only 2 days, the roof of the feeder broke in half. We will try to repair it... just seems a bit soon to have to be doing so. Quite disappointed.

It opens from the bottom, not the top, and the door doesn't use a screw or latch, instead it's a 'snug fit' closure - which means it's difficult to open without jostling the contents (even more so once the wood swells). There are better houses out there in the same price range (e.g., Garden Treasures)
