(More customer reviews)The platinum metal they use is beautiful in color and heavy. I use it with the bottom half for peanuts, the upper for sunflower seeds. I also have the 10 inch clear tray below to catch the seed. It is so easy to clean and allows a variety of birds to visit the feeder. Highly recommended.

Feeding the neighborhood birds is elegant, easy, and fun with the Droll Yankees Platinum Peanut Bird Feeder. It's made using stainless steel bail wire mesh, which is long-lasting and chewproof, as well as the correct size for holding up to 1 pound of shelled peanuts, peanut mixes, or black oil sunflower that attracts woodpeckers. The powder-coated platinum finish and the zinc die-cast tops and bases will last a lifetime. The threaded base allows you to attach an extra seed tray (sold separately) to provide extra room for birds and to catch seed. The sliding cap fits snugly on the feeder to allow you easy access, but keep the squirrels away. The fully assembled feeder is 13 inches long and 2.5 inches in diameter. Made in the United States.
