(More customer reviews)I have had seed in this feeder for over 5 weeks now and have not had to refill it. I use a mix of de-shelled seed and I get lots of little birds all day long using the feeder. I have not had any birds stop coming to the feeder since switching to this one with a cage!!!! The larger birds simply eat what falls to the ground. The list of birds I get eating from the feeder include: gold finches, sparrows (yuk), juncos, titmouses, chickadees, red-headed woodpeckers, downy woodpeckers, nuthatches, & house finches. Eating from what falls to the ground I get: blue jays, mockingbirds, grackles, cardinals, & robins. A must have for backyard bird enthusiasts who hate having to always put food in the feeder.
