(More customer reviews)I have several glass Perky Pet hummingbird feeders of three sizes and have always thought they are the best. I ordered this new model to see if it could be as good or better. At first I didn't like it because the fluid leaked out of the flowers while I attempted to get the top screwed on, but then I learned how to properly fill it--- get the top on as quickly as possible! If the feeder is completely full and the lid is twisted on quickly, the air bubble forms a vacuum before any food spills out of the flowers. I still like the glass feeders better than plastic bottled ones for durability and cleaning. The red plastic on this feeder faded to bright pink after a month in the sun. Also, I painted the white flowers yellow and painted the perches green, which I believe is much better than the original white plastic.
