(More customer reviews)I've had this sock for about six months now. The birds seem to have a very difficult time getting seeds out of it. (I'm using thistle seeds.) If I shake the sock soundly, I can feel some seeds creeping out of the tiny holes. And, the birds will come by and take those seeds.But, they don't work at getting the seeds, and it's rare that it attracts any birds. There are MANY birds in my rural yard, including lots of finches. But, they don't use this feeder. I had much better luck with the pre-filled thistle socks I used to purchase.
