(More customer reviews)There's no reason for the yellow snap-on "flowers" except for somewhere for dirt/mold to collect or start. Also when cleaning, it's just one more thing to clean. After leaving them off a feeder, I realized the "hummers" couldn't care less,and there doesn't seem to be any extra attraction to the birds. Good feeder but attachments are not necessary, just more work. Get the plain ones from the same company.
