(More customer reviews)I admit that this product sounds good in theory, and when I first received it I was very pleased with it. It's pretty, a beautiful glass piece, and fits very well inside the stake. However, it became apparent very quickly that it is useless as anything other than a pretty "objet d'art" for your garden. Ants found mine immediately, and completely clogged the feeder port. Then after a light shower, the nectar had become diluted and was useless too. After 24 hours, the solution was filled with dead ants. I tried covering the stake in Vaseline, but it did little good. Unless the glass blowers can come up with an effective ant/rain guard, I wouldn't recommend this product. In fact, I'm considering returning it, as it is expensive and doesn't do what I purchased it for.
