(More customer reviews)This feeder has so many design flaws it is hard to know where to start. There is no flat base, so filling the feeder is difficult, and feeder spills seed easily. No Catch tray for spilled seed. Hangar mechanism has too much slop, and so feeder swings to and fro horizontally. Useless thermometer became dislodged immediately and fell into the dirt, never to be seen again. Perches too short for all but the smallest of birds. Grosbeaks are advertised on the package, but Black-Headed Grosbeaks (about 7 inches long) would never be able to perch on the feeder. This feeder is impossible to clean. A much better choice is the Window Cafe. Easy to fill/clean. Tray design accomodates large range of bird size.
