(More customer reviews)I'm new to birding so I'm still waiting for a stand to hold a feeder, so in the mean time I tossed a couple of handfuls of this seed on the patio. Dang! It was like a cage wrestling match on television! Two Doves moved in on the seeds and tried to take possession. They would charge any other bird that walked (hopped) toward the bounty including a big Blue Jay. I thought 'Doves' were the bird of piece? Not these! Now there are cardinals making Guerrilla type attacks, sneaking in, grab some seed and zip out before the big Doves charge them. One Dove was attacked (dive bombed) by a yellow finch but it's mostly intimidation... I gotta hurry and install some feeders so I can separate them!
The is so much fun I installed a video camera to watch them.
