(More customer reviews)I've had the SquirrelStop since February. It took some adjustment to get it to work. For example, I initially had a feeder that had a little tray at the bottom. The squirrels quickly figured out that if they set the feeder spinning, food would fly off of the tray so they could still eat. I changed feeders to one that didn't have a tray, but the perch style meant that the squirrels were able to hold on to the post with their back feet and cling onto the perch with one paw, thus stopping it from spinning while they fed. I finally got a feeder that they can't foil and it has worked great every since. It has been weeks since I've seen a squirrel even bother trying. On the other hand, in the absence of squirrel competition, little chipmunks have taken their place and they are too light to set off the spinning. Fortunately, they don't eat nearly as much as squirrels so I've decided to let that go.
