(More customer reviews)My son loves bats. A friend works in the bat exhibit at the Oregon Zoo, and she influenced him to understand more about them and consider building our own house. I bought this kit for him to build as a project during his Spring Break. He is 8.
The quality of wood and equipment was excellent, and my only complaint was that the directions were a bit difficult to follow. You will need to have just a bit of intuitive understanding of how the house should look to decipher what the directions are telling you to do.
We were able to build it all in about an hour. It was a really fun project. Now I just need to get a lengthy pole to mount it on.
