(More customer reviews)After doing searches and reading all the reviews, we opted for this feeder because it claimed to be metal and glass (the description reads: "Rising up from its hand finished metal base cover, its fluted glass nectar container is accented with a beautiful red tint"). Our spot is very sunny and we are not interested in investing on plastic trash that would last 3 years max and then crack. This feeder has a glass bottle that sits upside down on the metal part, but for some strange reason, the bottom of the bottle where the whole thing hangs from is made from plastic that is glued onto the glass, not something you can replace. Anyways, if you are looking for a feeder that can resist lots of sun and temperature variations, you are better off skipping this model. If you are the manufacturer, you should not deceive people with wrong facts in the description of your products.
