(More customer reviews)I have used plastic birdfeeders in the past but after using the copper feeder, I would not go back to plastic feeders. The copper feeder has better mechanisms than the plastic feeder. The top removes very easily to add food and goes back on very easy. The wire to hold the top on is made very well and sturdy.
