I feed her zupreem Natural Cockatiel Pellets and the feeder regulates the amount of food and mess she eats, however since you have to turn it to allow the new food to come out, it is recommended that for a prolonged period of time (say more than 24 hours) it is recommended that you use a cup feeder to allow for more food to be available It is great
